A Web Designer is a person who creates and arranges the pages that make up a website. They often have to balance how a page looks against its functions, which can involve some compromises. Thus, a web designer creates web pages that are accessible to anyone irrespective of the device they use.

A strong interest in graphic design and a passion for clean code are necessary while background in web marketing, website design, or information technology gives a candidate an advantage in the field.
